I wasn’t always comfortable in my body and expressing my Self in all her glory.  I can without hesitation say: I get it.  I get what it’s like to live in a world with media telling us how we’re ‘supposed’ to look, act, and think.  I get what it’s like to look in a mirror and focus on flaws.  I get what it’s like to step on a scale or in a pair of jeans and see a number that brings up feelings ranging from self-doubt to full-on body-shamey hatred.  I. Get. It.

But I also love the science of anatomy and how we work (I’ve also been a Licensed Massage Therapist for the last 12+ years).  I love the shapes we can make, the confidence that comes from feeling connected to our bodies and seeing ourselves in a new way.  I love how much our forms can do for us, and I honestly see beauty in EVERYbody.

EVERY
body deserves to be documented.
EveryBODY deserves to be documented.
Every. Single. Body. deserves to be documented.

The Bold Bodies Collective is a positive body-image studio; this space is a community, a safe place to flip-off narrow standards of beauty and to feel empowered and confident in our Bodies and our Selves. We have a need to be Bolder, embodied & freer where our forms are concerned. Free from guilt, free from shame, free from judgement. Photography is the medium. Let’s be selective with our energy and choose to be connected and confident with our Selves – or at minimum, supported where and when we need to start that ongoing process.
