methodological approaches to explore the interrelationships of contingency and determinism, chaos and order.\u00a0 Most recently, my abstract\u00a0 \u2018Random Walk\u2019 paintings combine a random process with intuitive mark making to develop a dialogue about chance and intention.\u00a0 The processes I employ often comprise some negotiation between choice and non-choice\u2014between methods outside of control and determined elements.\u00a0 To me this offers a metaphor for the contingent flow of life and points to the fragility and impermanence of things.<\/p>\n<p>Jeff Perrott\u00a0 (Oct
