I have always been drawn to photography, but didn't get serious until I was in my mid-30's. I attended some workshops at the Maine Photography Workshops in the late 1980's, where I bought a couple of Banner plastic cameras and realized the images from these was the way I wanted to convey my vision.
I continued to explore other cameras, including pinholes and Polaroids( including the SX-70), as well as films, like infrared. Through all these years, I still come back to plastic cameras and pinholes. Recently I have purchased an iPhone and the Hipstamatic application for photography. I have used this the most in the past 4 months, as it combines instant digital results with a retro look and feel to the images.
